Having a huge home may help when it comes to leaving a big impression, but size isn’t everything. Contemporary architecture is so varied and creative that concepts, styles and designs for homes of all shapes and sizes can leave you speechless.
Today we’ll be taking you on a trip around the world as we run through our collection of ten tiny, but super-stylish properties that you’ll wish you called home.
Let’s get started…
Despite the property’s unconventional shape it boasts a beautiful modern interior, and even a balcony!
The view from this hilltop home is enough to win us over, but if that wasn’t enough the bold design becomes a beautiful beacon at night thanks to its impressive lighting.
Number two on our list infuses classic country style with cutting-edge modern design to produce a wonderful, whimsical home with an unparalleled amount of natural light thanks to the windows that cover an entire wall.
This tiny tropical bungalow is made entirely from reclaimed wood!
At a tiny twenty square metres this has to be the smallest home on our list, but the brilliant design more than makes up for the small size. Not only is the home constructed solely from natural, sustainable materials, but it has wheels too!
Towering above the rest – literally and figuratively – this rustic, mountaintop cabin may be a mere sixty-five square metres, but with the breathtaking views it provides we think it’s a brilliant building nonetheless.
This attractive little abode can be found in the German countryside; unsurprising given that the gorgeous cottage appears as if it’s come straight out of a Brothers Grimm tale! Inside, quaint, country style has been blended with modern elegance to produce a stunning property.
This super-cool contemporary home was once a shipping container, and has since been converted by Brazilian architects into an astonishing abode.
Building on the idea of converted containers, number nine on our list has been constructed using two containers stacked together. We love the terrific little terrace atop the first container!
This unbelievable alpine abode looks as if it were the setting for a scene in a J.R. Tolkien novel. Despite its small stature this rustic residence includes an intricate interior of wooden beams and attractive accents that match the beauty of the fantastic façade.
Continuing our quest for beautiful, small homes, we’ve found another eight great little properties.
