Our hot piece of property for today comes from Istanbul-based Sia Moore Architectural International. Founded in 2009 by professional architect Banu Altay, Sia Moore Architectural International operates as an international brand as the company completes one first-class design after the next in numerous locations.
These projects take on various forms, although the firm’s portfolio speaks of high-grade structures such as private palaces, spacious mansions, parliamentary buildings, elegant hotels, and a variety of social spaces.
Today, we travel to Baku, the capital and commercial hub of Azerbaijan, to appreciate the deliciously detailed 3D renderings of one of the most decadent lake houses ever seen. Designed for a private client, this dream-like structure takes up an impressive 1.250,00 m².

Our jaws are on the floor immediately upon entering. Double-volume ceilings, a crisp and clean colour palette, and not to mention that eye-catching chandelier dangling from above.
Not bad at all as far as first impressions go.
With its very open (and very clever) layout, modern furnishings and overall clean aesthetic, this living room seems ripe and ready to take on any form of socialising. But visual splendour is not the only factor to consider here; just see the immaculate commitment to storage and display as revealed by that marvellous (and super generous) shelf design where the flat-screen TV, as well as a myriad of reading- and watching material, are waiting to entertain guests.
Obviously this lake house is spacious enough to accommodate its own stand-alone dining room (actually, there is more than one). And as it flows out of the living room, the professionals in charge here made the wise decision to incorporate some of the living room's cool- and broody blues into the dining area for visual consistency.
As far as socialising goes, this structure really provides ample options. Case in point, this (spacious) bar area clad with some of the most popular building materials and -finishes like wood, glass, and marble.
Of course that generous collection of drinks doesn't hurt the enticing aura of this design, either.
In a house this size, it's no surprise to discover that the main bedroom looks fit for royalty. Clean-cut colours and patterns, an intriguing mix of textures, plus a dazzling ambience (can you see the style power of layered lighting?) ensures this room (even though it’s one of the more private areas) is one of the best designed in the entire house.
Our favourite stand-out piece here? It has to be the wallpaper design behind the bed. Give it a quick glance and it almost seems like an oversized headboard!
