Following disappointments with other architects we were approached by St. Luke’s Church with a challenging brief. They asked us to come up with a design of around 100 sq m on the plot of the previous church hall that was sympathetic to the existing church and incorporated several features: a large multi-functional space, access from church via an enclosed walkway, a sensory garden area and storage. Additional requirements included being disabled compliant and energy efficient.
The church only had only limited funds for the complete project including build and they wanted us to provide our design with a full costed budget as part of the initial stages of the project. A tough brief!
By combining our talented architects with our extensive construction experience we produced a design that met all their requirements, is one they are very happy with and has now been submitted to the planning authority.
As we have done for several of our previous projects including the new Tick Tocks nursery at Axminster and new restaurant in Seaton we have been commissioned for a complete design and build package providing the clients with a one stop solution from initial feasibility right through to completed construction.
