Period Kitchen Paul D'Amico Remodels Classic style kitchen

This proposal aimed to recreate a period kitchen design. The past had to be re-interpreted for practical reasons, nevertheless, a Victorian period aesthetic was achieved. The period features look had to be achieved by mixing newly crafted furniture with reclaimed. An opening was made to connect kitchen and dining room and house a newly crafted 'buffet hatch'. A beautiful set of 10 Wedgewood tiles from 1886 were inserted in the tile pattern design above the Carrara Marble worktop. The floor was tiled with white and grey limestone tiles from Fired Earth in a cheque board pattern. The total cost of this kitchen including creating wall opening, new pipework, cabinetry, UFH, floor and wall tiling, appliances—came to £ 8,200
