The W9 kitchen is the epitome of contemporary kitchen design. Industrial and architectural, this kitchen is perfect for a modern home with a cosmopolitan feel. Inspired by the Maida Vale area of London this is a stunning example of the next generation of Davonport furniture.
The island is designed as a core workspace for food preparation. The prep sink and Quooker tap at one end of the island are complemented by the end grain timber chopping block at the opposite end. The addition of a breakfast bar to the island gives it a sociable feel.
The industrial feel of the W9 is created by the rich combination of materials, colours and textures. The exposed brick and end grain chopping block give the design a rustic feel. The open shelving and industrial glass on the cabinetry in the island enhance the architectural aspect of the design whilst the soft mix of greys and the luxury marble provides a glamorous finish.
The walnut drawer box is hand engraved with the Davonport signature, a sign of true quality.
The Belfast sink softens the industrial aspect of the design with a copper tap adding a dash of colour to the otherwise very neutral colour scheme.
The open shelving in the W9 kitchen offers a space for cookbooks alongside ornaments. With plenty of storage available in the form of cupboards, this additional visible storage creates a space for select ornaments according to your preferred decor.
The bottom half of the W9 pantry is a very traditional layout with hand engraved drawers which include 'treats' and 'cheats' as well as crate style 'fruit & vegetable' drawers to allow for optimum ventilation which results in produce staying fresher for longer.
The W9 collection takes a classic pantry and gives it a modern twist. The mirrored back wall and walnut shelves are used to display bottles of gin and champagne, as a result it has become known as the W9 'gin bar'. A Wolf steam oven and coffee machine are positioned below, separating the drawers from the shelving part of the pantry.
